I am a urologist and andrologist specializing in men’s intimate health: erectile dysfunction, male infertility, hormonal disorders, and sexuality. As a co-founder of Kano.care and upon accepting the role of medical director, I wanted to address a very real need that I saw every day during my consultations: many men have serious intimate health issues, but are afraid to see a doctor or simply don’t have access to the right specialist.
With Kano.care, my goal is clear: to provide modern, accessible, and safe care for men’s intimate health through teleconsultations and a structured care pathway.
My Career Dedicated to Men's Intimate Health
I have been working as a urologist and andrologist for many years, both in my private practice and at the hospital, with men who suffer from:
- erectile dysfunction
- male infertility
- hormonal disorders
- other sexual and fertility issues that are often considered taboo
By listening to these patients, I've noticed several recurring patterns:
- They often wait too long before seeing a doctor
- They are having trouble finding a men's health specialist in their area.
- Shame, embarrassment, or fear of judgment prevent people from asking for help.
- Some people turn to unsafe online solutions, such as medications purchased without medical supervision
Based on these findings, the idea for Kano.care began to take shape in my mind.
Kano.care: A Digital Clinic for Men's Intimate Health
With Kano.care, we’ve created a telemedicine platform that specializes in men’s intimate health. My goal is for every man to:
- Consult a urologist/andrologist without having to leave your home
- talking about intimate issues in a confidential and reassuring environment
- gain access to medically approved treatments that are administered within a legal and safe framework
To me, Kano.care isn't just another website for teleconsultations. I want it to:
- a structured digital clinic with clear protocols
- a community of patients who feel heard and taken seriously
- a place where people can finally talk openly about male sexuality, erections, fertility, and hormones
By co-founding Kano.care, I wanted to expand men’s intimate healthcare:
- accessible (no matter where you live)
- faster (shorter wait times to see a specialist)
- custom-made (tailored to each situation)
Why I Decided to Become a Co-Founder of Kano.care
Several strong motivations led me to found Kano.care and become its medical director.
1. Making Intimacy Truly Accessible to Men
The lack of access to specialists in men's health is a major problem. With Kano.care, I want to:
- reduce wait times
- Offer online consultations with just a few clicks
- enable men to talk to a doctor, even if they don't have a specialist nearby
For many patients, a teleconsultation is an easier first step than an in-person consultation, especially when it comes to sexuality.
2. Using technology to improve the quality of care
I am firmly convinced that well-designed digital tools can improve medicine. At Kano.care, we use technologies that make the following possible:
- securing medical data
- Simplify the teleconsultation process
- structure clinical information to better monitor the patient's progress
To me, technology isn't just a gadget. It should serve to improve the quality of care, not replace it.
3. Protecting Patients from Counterfeit Medicines
As a urologist, I have seen men come in for consultations after taking medications they had purchased online—some of which were counterfeit or dangerous—to treat erectile dysfunction.
With Kano.care, I want to offer the following:
- a safe framework for prescribing treatments
- authentic, legally supplied medicines
- A complete package, not just a quick fix
The goal is simple: to reduce risks and provide solutions that respect patients' health.
4. Provide a reassuring and discreet environment
I know it can be difficult to see a doctor about a problem with erections, ejaculation, or fertility. Thanks to teleconsultation, patients can:
- talk about their symptoms in an environment where they feel more at ease
- Avoid awkward situations in a waiting room
- benefit from professional, empathetic, and personalized guidance
For me, trust is a key element of men’s intimate health, and this digital framework can actually help build it.
My role as Medical Director and co-founder of Kano.care
As medical director and co-founder, I am responsible for Kano.care’s medical strategy. Specifically, this means that I:
- define protocols for men's intimate health care
- ensures that every patient is treated by trained and experienced doctors
- monitors the quality of consultations and the proposed treatments
- is working to integrate the latest scientific and technological developments into the platform
Thanks to my dual role as a clinician and co-founder, I am able to follow a very clear guiding principle: every decision made must, first and foremost, serve the patient, improve their access to care, and enhance the quality of their treatment.
What I Want to Build with Kano.care
By creating Kano.care, I commit to:
- improve access to healthcare in the area of men's intimate health
- provide modern, safe, and evidence-based solutions
- Breaking down taboos surrounding erectile dysfunction, male fertility, and hormonal issues
- help men seek help sooner, before their problems start to have too much of an impact on their personal lives and their relationships
I am convinced that by combining clinical expertise, teleconsultation, and secure technology, we can transform the way men take care of their intimate health.
That's exactly what I want to build with Kano.care.
