On October 2 and 3, I have the pleasure of participating in the joint ESGURS and ESAU meeting here in Turin. This conference brings together colleagues who are most involved in urogenital reconstructive surgery and male sexual medicine. Two intense days filled with live surgeries, technical discussions, and exchanges of ideas that advance our field.
I'll be discussing two topics that are particularly close to my heart:
- Penile reconstruction, a demanding field in which precision and personalization go hand in hand.
- Peyronie's disease, and how to optimize functional outcomes that go beyond just the anatomical aspect.
These encounters remind me why I chose this profession: because we don’t just treat a body, but everything that sexuality means to a patient—their identity, their self-confidence, their relationships.
I am delighted to participate in these discussions alongside brilliant colleagues from across Europe. We share a common goal: to provide our patients with more humane, more precise, and more innovative medical care.
