ELMO Congress 2025 in Brussels: Discussing Men’s Sexual Health in the Heart of Europe

From October 23 to 25, 2025, I will be attending the ELMO Congress in Brussels, a major event for anyone interested in lifestyle medicine and prevention. This year, I have the pleasure of contributing to several sessions on sexual medicine and men’s health… in my natural habitat, right here in Brussels.

For me, this is an ideal opportunity to place men’s sexual health on the same level as the other pillars of health: physical activity, nutrition, sleep, and mental health. Too often, sexuality remains a separate topic, even though it has a major impact on quality of life, relationships with partners, and overall well-being.

Sexual Health as an Integral Part of Lifestyle Medicine

During ELMO, I will discuss various topics that are particularly close to my heart:

  • How can sexual health be integrated into a holistic approach to patient care?
  • Why erectile dysfunction, low libido, or fertility issues are often warning signs of other health problems
  • how to discuss these topics with patients in a simple, direct, and friendly manner

I will focus on one approach:

  • multidisciplinary (urology, endocrinology, cardiology, psychology…)
  • preventive (lifestyle, risk factors, comorbidities)
  • focused on the patient and his life plan

Sharing, exchanging, learning together

For me, this conference is an opportunity to:

  • share my clinical experience in the field of andrology and sexual medicine
  • exchange ideas with colleagues from diverse backgrounds
  • learning about new approaches, data, and best practices

I am firmly convinced that the best medicine is developed through dialogue among specialists, not in the isolation of the exam room. Every exchange, every question, and every case we discuss helps us refine our approach to patient care.

I look forward to seeing my colleagues again, meeting new people, and continuing to work together to promote men’s sexual health in the field of lifestyle medicine.
